I have not had a problem with Defi stuff... ever. You may want to call their US distributer (if available) and see if you can claim a defective part. All Defi stuff is fully warrantied.

i figure you thought of that already,i really think you should consider spending the 180 on it though.you might just have a bad gauge.talk to a defi rep, they might replace it.anywayz defi are great

how are you mouting your sending unit?
Ive never seen a Defi unit, but if you mount it to the block, the vibration kills the sensor
you have to remote mount it somewhere away from vibration
when I first got my prelude(I was a nOOb at everything lol)my shop mounted the sending unit on the block(way to go dumbasses)the sending units kept going out about every 6 or so months
I then remote mounted it on my fender via SS braided line and some NPT fittings
works fine

Anyone want to PM me that number of the N.A. distributor?

My sender is mounted to the firewall...the sensor is screwed into a greddy oil block adapter that sits between the filter and the block.

Darn this might not be good news. I have a defi d oil pressure gauge and a greddy oil adapter that I havent installed yet.

When I emailed defi about my boost gauge prob they told me to return the gauge to the place I bought it from and let them take it from there.

FYI, in Defi's instructions their recommendation for mounting the Oil Pressure Sender is to use an adaptor on the engine block. They simply say to get a 3 way adaptor so that the factory sender and the new Defi sender can be mounted in one place.

Personally, mine is mounted in one of the "spare" holes next to the oil filter. 2 months so far and no problems. Another guy I know has about 8-9 months and no problems either (on an EVO).
