Does the EVO have air bags?

Not like I really care, but does the Evolution have air bags?
I've seen no mention of it anywhere in any of the literature,
and from the pictures of the dash it doesn't seem to have any.
I thought all cars were required to have them?

All new cars sold in the US are required to at least have a front drivers and passangers airbag system....as per US Govt regs.

I'm sure the Evo will have airbags.

I wonder if the US EVO steering wheel will mount up on the OZ... could be cheaper than trying to find one from an EVO VII.

It's the same steering wheel. So yes.

EDIT: (On the VIII as the VII just to clarify.)

It's not the same steering wheel. The Evo has a Momo leather wrapped wheel and the Lancer uses something else. Not so sure that they'll match up.

I dont know if we're on the same wavelength... I was asking if the EVO VII wheel is the same as the US EVO steering wheel. It has already been proven that the EVO VII steering wheel will mount onto the OZ with no problems, so I was wondering if the US EVO will also.

I'd like to add a silly question.

Does the U.S. EVO have Air Conditioning?

I hope it doesn't even almost fit. Because we certainly want as few parts as possible to be easily shareable with the normal Lancers...

The less parts that match, the less the chances of thievery.

Yes. Browse a few pictures at the official website and you'll notice on the interior pictures there is an AC.
