I personally bring my tools and parts with me as I'm signing the papers. lol
No but seriously, you should mod after the break in period. I waited after 1000 miles.

Get used to the car before you mod. Also do 1 mod at a time, so if a problem arrises you can diagnose it easier.

After you are sure you have a car that needs no warranty work. The cars have been out long enough now so that the recalls are fewer but you really need to run a car a few thousand to make sure everything is good. I like to run throught the break in oil change and one more then after checking engine bolt torque I let the mods happen and the good times roll.

I had no intension of modifying my car when I bought it last month. The Evo and its power are addictive; I now plan on adding a Turbo-back exhaust and Dynoflash after 850 miles.

This car just gets inside you, enjoy it you will know when its time to start modifying.

break it in for sure, but the modding bug is coming for you. As soon as you do so much as swap out the head unit, or get a shiftknob, or whatever, you will know...the time will come grasshopper

Lol your sig and "drives" info is sweet, I love that British guy who always come up with clever sayings My favorite is the essence of clutch in the morning, slap it on before a curry and a fight!
