Racist Experience with the Evo
Don't worry too much, yopu are not being single out. I had the same thing happening to me with a smoke plate cover. The cop was actually talking out of his car with some neighboors while I drove by while delivering pizzas(12 years ago).
The cop quickly jumped into his car and chased me down two blocks down the road and told me to remove the plate cover. He never asked me for my license or insurance and registration.
I don't hink he was giving you hard time for being asian but I could be wrong because I wasn't there but don't swear it bro.

something similar happened to me, I was at a "german club" party.. on my walk home, cops pulled over and asked me where i was and why i was walking at 3 am by myself. I said I was at a german club party and that I only lived 2 blocks away.
they laughed, told me to sober up a bit and "quit trying to f*ck the hairy b1tches"
I was thoroughly disgusted, i told him off for being an idiot.. and had to spend the night in the drunk tank.
but it was worth it.

First...his comment was ignorant and innapropriate....file a complaint with his watch commander, then Internal Affairs. Second...YOU are ignorant to act like the law that prohibits that plate cover, was enacted AFTER you installed it. I have to assume that is your belief.....BECAUSE,...any NORMAL person wouldn't be upset about getting nabbed for doing something illegal (that they had knowledge of ) to their car? Wise up....if you modify your car, you have to pay to play.

In any case. There are still many parts of the U.S. that is racist (even in California). It's going to take some time before people realize that diversity is a great thing (if not the greatest). In fact, what made and makes the U.S. so great, is the fact that it was built from many cultures of the world. The only true Americans are the American Indians (even that is debateble), everyone else immigrated here somewhere along their family history. Rome was built along the same principle, and they are considered to be one of the greatest civilizations in the world (of all time).

What I find funny is that so many people that think they're pure blood white or pure whatever race, nationality and other anthropological groupings are not pure at all. These purist/racist are all hypocrites. Nobody is pure this or that race, but we are all human.

Sorry to make light of the situation but if experiencing a cop saying "chinese people " is your "racist" experience consider your self lucky, you have no idea what racism is.
I am white and cannot say that I know how you feel but all I do know is that a lot of people deal with situations where a lot more was done besides mentioning what race they belong too...

^Yeah, what happened to the guy was minor racism. Not really a big deal, in my opinion.
Asians have it easy compared to other minority groups when it comes to racism.
There is also racism towards whites too. People tend to forget that. Calling someone a redneck is racism in my book.

Wouldnt it be great to have tape recorded that conversation? Then take it to the police department and watch him deny it. Bottom line is absolute power corrupts absolutely. Most of these guys are *******s because THEY CAN BE and there is nothing we can really do about it.
