tire noise!

I know the evo has inherently loud tire noise but seems like its been getting louder every day. It's not an even sounding hum noise either, its more along the lines of an uneven humming noise, somewhat like the tire is a little flat. this even happens when the tires are already warm, BUT seems to go away when I'm making a turn either left or right. the tracks perfeclty a little left but straight none the less. any ideas on what this would be i.e. frame, caster camber etc. would be great.

thanks in advance

mine is a little louder now, but now i don't have an undertray, i'm getting a new one. maybe it's the tires? mine has about 2500 miles, and the noise is up a little.

The tire tread acts a sound absorber, so as the tread wears down road noise will generally get louder. Also, I think big tread blocks will transmit sound better, so generally the higher-performance tires (which have big tread blocks to reduce tread squirm) will be louder.

You think the stock tires are loud, try Falken Azenis Sports!

it's probably the brand....

yokohama performance tires are always freakin noisy....no matter what....

...even my buddy's Parada's had a grip load of road noise...

My tire's get loud usually around 25mph.....besides that...I don't hear much....

anyhow...i just get on the gas and let the BOV go off, and it usually makes me feel better...
