t-cases usually don't clunk from what I've heard...

What did you do to your car anyways?

I had a clunk noise like you described with my accord. Ended up being the sway bar. I would check your front sway bar make sure it is secure.

the noise is mostly comming from the driver side and makes the noise when making left and right turns and starting out in first. You can still here when you hit the gas hard......

well, sounds like you have an excuse to replace your transfer case with a limited slip one.

I noticed you are in Philly. It has been colder there right? Did you have this problem when it was warm? Does the problem go away after the car warms up properly?

I am in Central PA and I have a similar problem when it's cold. My dealer was of no help but a friend suggested it might be an issue with the diff fluid getting too cold/thick after a cold night. I have no idea if this is correct but the facts seem to fit.

Hope you find the problem as it might help me out a but also.

sounds like your front diff. did you launch before you heard the noise?

So the sound goes away while driving? Shouldn't a broken transfer case make noise in all driving condition?

I had a similar noise problem in my Prelude, and it turned out to be a steering shaft.

If it is the TC, you are going to want to track down a used one.
New they are outrageous!
