Stock manifold to aftermarket?!?

Stock manifold to aftermarket?!?

i want to replace the stock rusty manifold with a nice aftermarket polished header...as i was looking through my engine bay...it doesnt look like its a hard job..i never installed one before... do i need to take my bumper of? or is just like a bolt on? real easy?

any help? and what tools might i need?!?!

its real simple to take off and to put back on (at least the stock one) buschur has a ported one that is coated. they might have a polished one i cant remember.

do i just remove the heat shield and remove all the bolts connecting the manifold together? no need removing bumper...any extra work like that right?

I should have my manifold for sale in about 1 1/2 months. I have the PRO-1. There's pics of it on here somewhere.

No need to remove the bumper, just take the downpipe off, loosen up the bracket that is supporting the turbo and the manifold just kinda slides out.

I've seen this one chromed too (but I don't think a chromed header is a good idea).

Take your stock one off and paint it with hi temp paint.

Taking it off isn't as easy as you would think.

It's pretty easy unless you have a friend crank the bolts way too hard and snap 3 of the 4 em off.......... then it turned into 8 hours and 30+ drill bits to clear

Mine was easy, it took me an hour and no broken bolts, was the car still hot or something?
