MR 400 hp are in atlanta
I didn't think this claim was correct... but I wondered if that Mitsu dealership might have installed aftermarket parts, claimed 400hp, and marked up the price. Would be nice if it really did that amount of HP, and was backed by the warranty.

Please prove your ridiculous claim. If you are referring to the British MR FQ-400, Mitus built 100 cars for sale in the U.K. only.

Just to nitpick a little but Mitsu didn't build the FQ-400. Ralliart bought FQ's from Mitsu and rebuilt them into 400's.

By the way they are developing this for the Evo:
Owen Developments to Unveil 450 bhp Lancer Evo Technology
Owen Developments to Unveil 450 bhp Lancer Evo Technology
The power or HP really doesn't mean anything without balance and that's what FQ400 has and yes it's $89,000 or so, that's not including the shipping and handling from importing it from uk, and making it legal to drive it here.
You'll be driving a right hand car in us, like if you were to buy a skyline here.
There is no way that MR could be a FQ400 or anything with 400 hp. If it was, they wouldn't park that thing outside all night It would be replacing that mini van inside the show room.
Then again Ed Voyle Mitsu treats their evo's sorta carelessly, leaving the doors open and everything after they close.

OK...here goes:
You are a complete and total idiot to think that you would get information like that "out of the blue" one day -- from "Joe mechanic", no less.
How's that?
Something like that is usually preceded by a press release MONTHS in advance.

Want to see something even funnier?
Click on the links to their Vehicles and navigate to the MR they have listed. When you go to the MR page, it has the heading:
"ONLY 1000 BUILT IN THE UNTIED STATES......TRUE RACE CAR!!!"
Last I heard, the UNITED States were "tied" together pretty well.
While the EVO has race car like qualities, it hardly comes close to its race car equivalent.
That right there is enough to convince me that Ed Voyles Mitsubishi is a thrown together operation run by idiots. If they can't spell, I doubt they can manage bringing in a 400hp EVO either.

ps. Between the three models listed above, the only noticably differences to the laymen eye are : wheels, mirrors, vortex generator, front lip spoiler and the exhaust. all of wich i would probably change/add over time.
