engine blown at 3000 miles, had mechanical failure on the # 1 piston bearing, this caused the rod to snap. I broke in well (oil change 100 miles, and 1000 miles) never launched and never taken past 5000rpm during breakin period. Dealership put in a new short block (bottom half of the engine for you drivers not mechanics) 3 days after getting my car back the gasket goes out and my turbo takes a ****. Waiting to get back my car now, so i'll have new engine and turbo (basically a new car) but rest assured my evo is in the autotrader, i love the car but i'm tired of the problems, the car will be fine now with complete motor swap but i'm just not trusting the intergity of mitsu products at all.

Not to be funny at all, (cause I feel for what you're going through), but I guess it goes to show you that people DO end up with the cars made on Mondays and Fridays...
