How many Evo owners would buy an Evo again right now?

I'm still in love with the Evo (from a distance), but I'm wondering how many of you who have one now, and who've had a chance to get used to it, would make the same decision again? There seem to be many other attractive alternatives out there that some of you have mentioned, like the Infiniti G35, etc. Granted, I still am fixated on the Evo, but I'd like to hear what others think. If a lot of you say "Yeah, I'd ditch my Evo for ____ in a heartbeat", I still probably won't change my mind. And for those who would switch, why? For those who wouldn't, why not? Thanks.

Unless something comes up that I have to have in a couple of years, I will definitely get another Evo

I was going to trade my '03 in for an '05 this year but have decided to wait for the 9 also. I hate Mitsubishi as a company but the Evo's everything I want in a car at a price I can afford (well, providing Mitsu don't bump the price again for the IX).

If a Skyline were readily available, I'd get one of those instead... Other than that, my 8 will be with me for as long as it lives, cuz the 9s are fugly

I still love my Evo after 2 years. There are times I wish it was a second car though. Mainly because there are projects I want to do but, can't afford the down time. I'm thinking a $500 dollar beater is in my near future.

If I was ready today to get another car, it would be either a new Z06, 04 Cobra, Lotus Elise, build an 89 LX 5.0. I don't think I would get the Evo again. It's fun but it's not really my cup of tea. I bought it for the drivetrain. I don't really like anything else about it to be honest. But I love the turbo AWD. Also, the Evo is not my daily driver.

MHI?...G35 isnt a 'true' Skyline so get the real homologated Group B legal rally car..Evo.

The IX is just a facelift like the VII was to the VIII. Add the IX body kit to an VIII and you would be 'trendy' or 'in style' for 2006 if thats what your worried about. My '05 RS is a nice and pure drivers car.

I will have my Evo for two years in June. I still look forward to driving it as much as the day I got it, I would buy another in a heart beat. This is coming from someone who has had 3 f-bods, LT1/Ls1's. This is without a doubt the best car overall car I have ever had. Also power potential is through the roof. I love this car.
