EVO owners/vendors with EVO VII Tales, Please read

Just a question.

On my 03 evo i had the EVO VII tails and they were all red with the clear signal. Just like everyone is used to.

I ordered my EVO VII tails from a certain company and just received them yesterday....but there is something different about them. They came in the same OEM boxes from Mitsu and everything is the same....but.....

on the clear section there are horizontal red lines going across the clear section of the tail light. Not like they are imperfect or anything....the red lines are without a doubt there for a reason. can anyone tell me if this is a new thing with the VII tails? is this supposed to be there? did they send me some kind of knockoffs?

if you guys have info please let me know...cause i honestly dont' know if i like them with the red lines...

The true EVO VII tails have the red horizontal lines on the turn signal part. The ones you had on your '03 were probably the stockers with the vinyl overlay.

Do the ones you recently got look like this?

Cuz those are the EVO VII's. I don't recall the VII's every coming with a completely clear turn signal.

it's just kinda weird that there would be two different types......and the majority of them did not have the red lines........
