Turbo Timer + Viper 791XV....Got Some Questions...

Im getting my Greddy TT installed this week and next week Ill be getting a Viper 791xv installed

I know this has the built in turbo timer(which I dont care for)
I did a search on here and noticed that you need the remote start option for it to work with a turbo timer???

is this true???
I really dont want the remote start
Im just confused about this whole thing

can I make it work without remote start option?

what would I need to make it work?

TIA

No, If i recall correctly you don't need remote start. You just have to program the TT.

you don't need the remote start. i've got my tt and alarm playing nicely together and the remote start was not hooked up.

The built in turbo timer feature of the alarm is part of the remote start module. If you do not get the remote start module, you cannot use the alarm's turbo timer feature. However, you can use an aftermarket turbo timer of your choice. Just make sure the aftermarket turbotimer is wired correctly.
