They say it will be announced at the LA Auto Show and the car will be here in spring 2003. We'll have to see about that. At least this is another source of that "magical" 260 HP figure. Sounds good to me.
Mitsubishi was expected to announce its worst-kept secret, that the rally-inspired Lancer Evolution sedan is coming to America in spring 2003. While rumors suggest it won’t be as potent as the European and Japanese Evos, we hear it will have “around” 260 hp, comparable to the 261-hp WRX STi we hear Subaru will have on market at about the same time.

What's this crap on autoweek.com about the Detroit auto show. And the worst kept secret will be that the Evo 7 will be released in Spring....2003?!?!?!?!? I can't wait until 2003. Maybe they mean 2002. Ok, take deep breaths and cross your fingers.
