Yep

Hmmm... the evo has a 103.3 wheelbase while the Lancer has a 102.4 inch wheelbase... that's kinda weird as they both share the same frame structure.

Anyone know what contributes to the larger wheelbase in the evo than the lancer? Is it the way the suspension is set up?

Yes it is the suspension setup. I don't know if the pickup points for the suspension on the Evo is the same as the Lancer but the suspension configuration is WAY different, thus changing the wheelbase slightly.

So if they have a different suspension setup but the same chassis, would it be feasible to find an evo in a junkyard and transplant the suspension setup? I'm only asking this cuz I love the huge selection of coilovers and suspension products the evo has. For us normal lancer guys all we can do is Tein Super Streets or Tein Basic or just plain old springs. Also wanna see if I can get the brembo's on as well as the 5 lug hub

Sorta... only difference is im not doing it to say "durrr... i got brembo's and evo-like suspension". I am prepping my car for the autocross season because I am gonna go full on this time. I am already talking to PDXRalliart to make me a set of his bars and in case I cant put on brembos from the idea of transplanting the evo's suspension I got a friend willing to hook me up with the wilwood big brake kit. I just thought i'd ask this so that i'd have a broader range of coilovers options to choose from and wider wheels. I am getting my fenders rolled to accomadate wider tires if not wider rims. Only problem is that 4 lug wheels only go so wide...
