On my STi, I have engine management, and a K&N panel filter.

I plan on getting a turbo-back exhaust, some swaybars, strut tower brace, anti-lift kit, and nothing else.

Do what you want. It's your car and if it makes you happy there is nothing wrong with it ... I just don't want to mess with my car anymore. I ruined my last EVO VIII by having the clowns at Boost Solutions modify the hell out of it. I learned my lesson and I don't want to do it again. I had a few pieces left from that disaster, I traded the car with the Exedy twin plate clutch, cams, cam gears, fuel rail, injectors and fuel pump in it. The FMIC, AEM EMS, HKS intake and some other bits and pieces I sold on Ebay but I kept the turbo back exhaust and the XEDE... I did put the cat back in the MR and the XEDE. The XEDE is a no brainer, works great and does not affect the driveability in any way. The cat back is a different thing. I'm pretty sick of the added noise. I don't think there is much in the way of mods that can make my MR better for it's main purpose. No way in hell I'll touch the suspension and frankly, unless I find a sure fire, guaranteed mod that'll make at least 100 whp more without "any" driveability issues or other downfalls, I'm not touching the engine either...

Just my $.02

I'm keeping mine stock until the warranty is out...

Then it's fair game.
