I just had a greddy type s bov put on my evo and it makes a very slight squeek in 2nd but other than that no noise. How do i adjust it to be louder and still not have driveing issues.

Dont get all worried its from you airbox. Take the top and take the filter out for a lil bit but it isnt smart(i did it or a month) Get intake tho. If you vent it to the atmosphere it more then likely will run horrible w/out the ems. You will be happy if you take the filter out.

You need some kind of open air element intake, then you'll hear it

don't go VTA unless you go with ems. Intake is where it's all at right now.

sometimes i wonder what people consider "LOUD", i've had a greddy type S VTA, recirculated, and recirc with single spring mod. To me, theres no such thing as "loud" by recirculating, when i ran teh greddy type S VTA, now thats loud, then i moved to the HKS SSQ VTA, now THAT is loud, im installing my forge VTA BOV today and we'll see how "loud it is". and i dont know why some people say the HKS SSQ recirculated is still loud, are u on drugs?!?! its dead silent.

You can actually hear the stock DV with an intake - and while I won't try to start an argument... a LOT of people have went back to the stock valve after trying sometimes 3 or more aftermarket BOVs.

One interesting thing - I have the stock DV, but a Dejon Tool intake, and I have stalling issues, sometimes... PITA, but it sounds awesome.
