My Exhaust smells...

Anyone with after market exhaust experience some kind of Rotten Egg stench? mine does it once in awhile...i dont get it?

im gonna assume u just got ur catback installed... the egg smell u get is the burning in process... it will go away

Some guru can explain exactly why this is, but the basic fact is that if you don't have a cat, it sometimes smells very funky.

I only notice mine when I pull in somewhere after running it hard... as for the exact bouquet of the smell, I said it smelled like burnt cookies.

My girlfriend stated emphatically that no burnt cookie she'd ever smelled reeked that badly... women.

If you do a search on here, you'll find threads about this - with people saying everything from "their exhaust doesn't stink at all, ever" to "The fumes from my tbe are giving me a tumor, and making children and dogs puke and pass out when I go by."

could be paper attached to you exhaust.. or just the nice smell of exhaust with now emissions control... kinda smells like leaded fuel...

lol...ive had the exhaust for about..3 months...

I have my stock cat on...its only a catback at the moment...

The smell usually comes on when i gun it, and after i park it...And sometimes it just smells for no reason (normal driving)...
