Did you guys with cams installed experience horrible gas mileage? I'd like to get cams but my friend's Evo was awful on gas with 272s compared to pre-cams.

I went up an average of three mpg (from 16-17mpg to 19-20mpg) when I switched from the OE cams and a Works P2 flash to 272's and a Turbo Trix flash. Of course I'm sure the tuning had most to do with it. However, it could be said that my heavy footed driving style puts the aftermarket cams in a more effiecient range than the OE's were ...

I just installed 264i/264e this morning. Definitely noticed a big difference in power. Not just the top end, but all the way through.

Well, there are no numbers, but the video has a evo running against a srt-4 and it loses by a car length (from a highway pull). Then, there is the same two cars going again with just the cams as improvements on the evo and it wins by three car lengths...did you try the second link i put up? it should take you to srtforums.com and then go to videos section and look for "evo modded-srt modded"

Keep us posted on the new developments in cam timing and these new cams Mark. Had a delay in the AEM Mark, but from the looks of it we should be bringing you back to Pcola in a couple months. In a perfect world, I'd be bringing you down to tune my AEM for my new turbotrix kit...lol Gotta run it by the wifey first though...lol

I did not notice any change is gas mileage, could be the turbotrix tune.
