up near the dyno site, there was a pesky corner that was a real tight low speed curve. It was simply misjudged and brakes locked. = slideoff.

Hey guys. It was me that got in the accident. Yea im still alive. It was my own stupidity. After the Tune I went for a test drive and didnt notice that Upsala Rd took a REALLY HARD left turn. I slammed on my brakes and the car locked up. It just slid, after hitting a few signs, right into the ditch. The car is being taken care of 100% by insurance. I'll have her back in a month or so. Thanks for posting this. Thank god I was wearing my seatbelt and am ok. It was really something very scary that I cannot seem to forget. Here are some pics i took on the fone...

Whew... that's scary man. Glad it was relatively minor! Being out of control is the worst feeling

Yea thanks. I keep thinking about how I could have saved all this from happening. When you are in that situation you just dont think correctly and do what comes natural. I am NOT a wreckless driver - this is the first accident I have ever been in - in my entire life. By far the scariest thing. When My car was sliding on its side - i was scared that "okay hold on this is it..."... Just some advice to everybody - please be careful on the roads. I know we have fast cars - but there's no need to prove your power on the streets. I deserved what I got - it was mere stupidity and now I have to pay for what happend. All in all - im okay and that is whats important.

Not to move this off-topic, but I think in all fairness you should remove Turbo Trix's name from the title of the thread. It really has nothing to do with them, and when I saw the thread I thought their tune had something to do with the accident. Just a heads up to any mods, may want to change it out of respect to a valued vendor here.

When i wrote the title i never implied that it was TT tune that caused the accident. What i meant was that the accident happened right after the tune and was saying that these cars can be real fast after mods like those and tuning thats all. Didnt want to give anyone the wrong idea or TT. Just want to clear things up guys.

nah, not really, because any one of the 25 or so of us that was there, would know to chime in real quick due to the title.

We knew where TT was this weekend and so anyone there would know.

can't please everyone.

regardless, glad everything's alright.
