Evo owner in bad wreck?

We had a Turbo Trix dyno day here in Sanford,FL saturday. Plenty of Evos there. Supposedly there has been an Evo that had a few power mods installed including cams, standalone, injectors etc. We just got news that the Evo had been in a crash after the dyno tune. This is a wake up call for me and for a lot of you to be careful on the roads specially when our cars make big power. Will update info as soon as i get more details. Be careful out there guys, this can happen to anyone.

Hey guys I just got off the phone with the owner of the Evo. He was involved in a accident by himself and wrecked the car. He was ok and there was no one else involved. The car was messed up but is not totalled. Thank god no one got hurt.

I am not to sure exactly I was just relieved to hear what he had to say and I was glad he was ok. I am sure he will be on eventually with pictures and the story.

Damn, it is so sad to hear all this evo accident going on. Hope everyone is alright and still alive. As to saying, " with great powers comes greater responsibilities." They need to slow down and take control of the car. If they want to drive the car really fast, take it to the track not on public highways.

Good to hear!! GLad he didnt get hurt. The story i heard must have been from another accident.Still, we all need to be really carefull out there with all the craziness going on. Was it a red Evo that was recked??

the first post said someone died. Are we talking about the same wreck here? I honestly hope NO ONE was hurt regardless, but I guess I'm just curious...

i think you are mistaken with the accident in Las Vegas area , where someone died, i read it was a new electric blue evo. Totalled without even plates..

nah, he's fine. Car is banged up, fresh mods are toast, but he's ok.

Simply a testament to all of us that the evo DOES HAVE LIMITS.

Yes, it was red.
