Running with no front undertray?

I dont have it on and was wondering if there is any negatives to not having it. It doesnt seem from my experience so far that it affects the driveabilty at all. I was a little worried about the engine and everything getting covered in water and road grime but it seems as though it stays dry without it. I was also worried about sucking water into the intake(HKS) but that doesnt seem to be a problem either. Anyone else have any experience???

I had mine off after I put on my IC pipes, and left it off for a while and it was totally fine through the rain, but put it back on before it snowed here...

Probably doesn't make any difference in real world driving, day to day, but it does have those deflectors to channel air towards the brakes. How usefull they are in actuality, is anyones guess.

Anyone not planning on reusing theirs and want to sell it?

People People People. I took mine of also, when I was putting my intercooler piping. BIG MISTAKE! I drove thru some gravel. Nothing major- thats what I thought some of the gravel got into the pulley system and ripped a piece of the belt off. Any way put it back on went to the dealer. They replaced belt and tensioner free of charge. I also think they said its good for undercar aerodynamics.

I would think its good for something. It seems like it protects from water splashing up on the motor and over time its got to be keeping a lot of road grime off the engine block. Also wouldnt it help help the air turbulance going underneath the car ?

Airflow control.
I would expect the car to run hotter in the warm weather because it should be helping to control the airflow across the radiator and IC. Many car have some type of air dam undertray for just this reason. Thus the reason it runs all the way forward to the front fascia. Also, the oil cooler should suffer since the air that enters up front can exit below and not flow across the cooler.
