Yeah I hate being ignorant, but I put mine on #1 and havent had any problems (not that I've noticed) about the readings... It's been there for about 6 months already.

I have mine in the #1 and the only complaint I have is that my Autometer takes forever for to register the amount of boost built up. The needle on the dial moves slow. I wonder if it's the location or if I have a leak...

I will tel you that if you look at the way the hoses are set up. you are getting your source after the FPR solenoid and not directly from the manifold. That solenoid is no an always open solenoid so it may not always give you the best reading. If you have a vacuum/boost gauge you should see it. Just boost you may not.

The original poster ased for the proper location and got the right answer. #1 is not the right hose and is clearly evident by the way the hoses are routed. If you want to use then more power to you.

What a coincidence...I just purchased an A'pexi 60mm boost gauge as well (should be here at the end of this week) and was wondering the same thing.

It looks like #2 has more votes than #1. I personally would like a clear explanation as to the difference in the two locations.

Maybe a poll should be put up so that people can vote on how they have it set up in there car.

Here is where I went through the firewall

It's on the passenger side. The greddy has a little box you have to mount.. I found the perfect location for it:

thank you all
So we have different opinions here, I think Im going for #2 but I wonder why mitsu/dealer use the other line, the one coming from the fpr

Also, who makes a/f gauges in 60mm? why apexi isnt making one?
I went to 2 shops and they are asking $285 and $305 for a greddy (i think)
looks real nice but I dont want to spend that $$$ on a gauge.

Yeah, me too, I've had it up there for 3 months. If we were to fix it and put it on number two, what can be do to fix the cut line at number 1?
