where to put the "T"

I just bought an A'PEXi 60mm boost gauge, the instructions that came with it says to put the "T" using the (#1) line in this pic. I have seen people using the other vacuum line (#2), also the guy from the shop I got it from told me to use #2.

What is the difference between these two? Should I use 1 or 2?

I don't see two pictures so I'm not sure what you're trying to compare.

Do not use #1. That is for the fpr and it will give strange readings some times. That line is hooked to the fpr so it can raise the fuel pressure 1:1 for every psi of boost you are running. It is not a good place to put a boost gauge and can give odd readings sometimes.

#2!
#1 is through the solenoid and therefore will not always give a reading.
