Just like the Mazda 6...I went down there to test drive it and the Mazdaspeed Protoge (I couldn't believe they had them side by side!!) Anyhow, they wouldn't let me test drive either unless I put in a credit app and was ready to buy....the guy did let me put the key in and rev them up....I'll tell you, that Mazda 6 is bad ***!!!

 

Same with my local dealership. No test drives. The head sales droid said that they will be having an 'invitiation only' night where they will set up the first allotment of cars in the service bays for a show and tell session. Seeing that the roads here in western NY are covered in salt and slush right now, I can't see the dealers even letting the techs drive the cars around the block.
