Blacking out headlights
headlights are easy if you have a blowdryer/heatgun, flathead and a razor. i blacked out mine in about 1 hour. the taillights i have not figured out how to take them apart, as it isnt the same glue holding it together, where the headlights use a softer silicone-ish glue, the rear lights have a seal which is hard, and my blowdryer and razor didnt seem to have any effect on it
the headlights are easy and the taillights are HARD.
do some searching and you'll find all kinds of tips on how to blackout both (i hear it's much easier to do the tails if you use a dremel tool instead of heat, which does nothing on that hard sealant)

yeah i hear its preaty easy and i do want to try it for future projects but honestly on my car i called in to see how much new headlights would cost in case i ****ed them up cause they surely wouldent have been covered by waranty and i wanted to b sure i could replace them in case i messed up and the prices were outragious they cost like $1000 each for the fronts and $600 each for the backs so i decided that i would rather buy them out of jap JDM rather then take a chance... ive also seen a few peeps here in town who have pride them open and blacked them out honestly i think the original MR JDM look a hell of alot cleaner u can check out mine here

use a gloss paint, i used a flat black, then i put them back together, didn't like them, and had to redo the whole thing, i definetly recommend the gloss, use high temp paint also
to reseal just use a sealant, and press them together then use rubber bands all over the lights to keep them tight till they dry, use a ton of rubber bands and plenty of sealant to avoid leaks or moisture build up
