As far as video clips inside the car, it's really tough to capture how loud and deep it really is since most of the vibrations from the sound are being absorbed by your *** and under-carraige of the car, making for a really really deep sound. If you're concerned about hearing the turbo spool... for me, it's really hard to hear it spool w/ the valve open... my car sounds like a n/a all-motor car than a turbo i-4 with the valve open.
Sounds good man, just pm me... Mine right now has the Injen Intake and UIC kit, so i know how the turbo sounds, but i was just saying for maybe others that didn't have an intake, and it would be great for comparison purposes for others as well...

I was also curious to see how it sounds inside opened up as well... do you have a lot of rattles with it??? my last car turned into a buzz-box inside with it's opened up exhaust...

and once again... good run... look forward to the STi vid...

Special thanks to Giovanni aka IHATEPORSCHE for giving me great launching recommendations.
^^^This is exactly the way I do it too. Builds boost just enough to give you that extra oomph when leaving the line. Just like the dsm's using a stutter box I think.

Great run, man. I think, if nothing else, you're proving that being a "faster" driver is much more important than having a "faster" car... People can brag all day about "I have 500whp" or whatever, but if you lose on the track, then you lose!!! Keep killin' 'em!

Exactly what I'm trying to prove... a good driver is worth more than any hp adder on a car...

That friend would be me.

LOL

Yeah. I was really proud of my good buddy Mr. "CT9AGSR" that night. He ran better and better times each time he went.

Before the race, we had no idea what Mr. Supra owner was packin'...except for those lame *** 19's that resemble the oh-so-cheapo Motegi MR7's..

My buddy Eric who was recording the vid, if you'll notice, tried to turn the camera to the right to see just where the Supra was. lol...and as you all saw, he was no where to be found. He really did have a bad reaction time. I noticed too that he didn't heat up his tires as all before the run, due to the expense of those low-profile tires he had on, I'd have to agree with that decision...

Honestly...440hp Supra's...are not that fast.... they REALLY aren't.

And for all of you who say stock TT Supra's run 13.5, like you see in the magazines... you might as well be saying that Evo's run 13.0's all day stock...but the fact of the matter is...unless you're some kinda amazing pro...you will NOT run those times in those cars stock. ALL the other Evo's and STI's that night were running 13.3-13.8. Before we got there, ONE Evo with cams/BPU's ran 12.9...and that Silver STI that CT9A raced in the other vid ran a 12.8 when he ran a solo run..but again, neither of them are stock.

I've raced a 450+ish Supra in my RX-7 before, and he BARELY pulled...the kinda pull that makes you go "...Wow...that car's not much faster than me". My RX-7 was pushing maybe...260rwhp tops @ 10psi. My point is... All of you "The Gay and the Curious" Supra-humping wannabes need to get ur nose outta the brown chocolate star known as "the internet", get ur butt to a track, and see for yourself what kinds of times NORMAL people run.

MAN that felt good. LOL :P

Evo's KICK ***! WHOOOOOO

*runs off*

Yeah good run, that Supra did have an impressive trap though of 114MPH, still he couldn't drive, 14.2@114MPH is laughable. Great job in your EVO, great car.

^^ Again I offer to be the next supra victim.

It's about the driver not the hp.
