Would you lower your RS?
I would never mess with the Evo's suspension. You'll actually lose some performance. Lowering the center of gravity is only the first of about 3-5 steps in improving the handling characteristics of a vehicle. Without doing the remaining few steps...new struts, end links, sway bars, etc...the car will handle worse. Believe me. I lowered my old SRT-4 with Eibachs and it was like getting kicked in the a$$ everytime I hit any sort of bump in the road.
If you bought an Evo you're obviously serious about handling so don't compromise for looks. If it ain't broke don't fix it, but if you really wanna lower the car do it right, pay a little more money, and go the coilover route. You get what you pay for. I give a huge vote against lowering your RS with springs.
