Dont buy from user RallyRedBMore

ok this guy posted a for sale thing on the for sale forum of a $1000 gift certificate for goshoppingmall.com for $200 then i bought it from him for 180 thru paypal. I was skeptical but he wasnt a guy with 2 posts and never seen on the forums. So i went ahead and bought it for my girlfriend so she could use it. This 180 coulda went to my Escort radar, downpipe, new blow off valve, etc... Well he was being really courteous PRIOR to sell and sent it out to me. When i received it, i checked it and the certificate # was invalid, i tried NUMEROUS times. I even tried it on different computers. I even had other people type it in to make sure it wasnt just me. I must've tried about 3 computers. Well i PM'd him and this was his response:

well, ur typing it in wrong or something. it worked for me, so its something on ur end. and u can take whatever action u need. my paypal account has been disabled since u said u were going to "take action". so good luck friend.... next time dont threaten me.

I PM'd him the first time saying the certificate doesnt work, i waited about 3 days and i noticed he had logged on evoM numerous times and never responded to my PM. So i PM'd him back and said quote "please respond before i am forced to take further action". then he PMs me back with the message above. I dont even wanna bother going thru all the trouble with him cuz hes being NOTHING like what he appeared to be prior to sale. An A S S bottom line. Hes doing NOTHING to help me at this point. SUPER crappy seller. Dont buy a donut from this guy cuz somethings gonna be wrong with it.

Sorry to hear, not to knock you for trying to get a killer deal, but dude no one gives away $1000 for $200... thats a dead giveaway. None the less sorry to hear about your deal gone sour. *at least it was only 200 bucks and not say 600 etc.

I have the same certificate from a toyota dealership gave me for test driving a car. I just never use it. I'm willing to give mine away for free since I don't need it. PM me if you want it. The seller got it for free and I can't believe he actually sold it for cash.

paypal can still take action... it might take like a month or so. some one tried to dip and run with $150 that was mine. they even closed their paypal acc. and their checking account. about a few weeks later i get a letter from a collection agency that they were billing him for the amount he took away from me

OKay did u actually contact paypal yet. If not then say u never got the merchandise. My friend sold a gift card online and the person said he never got it and now my friend is out 200 because the guy said he didnt get it and the card is now empty. People are a$$es simply put. Paypal will give u the money back even if he disabled his account. THey still have has info on file.
