Anybody that can give me any tips is appreciated. Like how much dealer invoice is and what a good price would be.

Thanks in advance, I've been dreaming for a while with this car..

just tell them you want it for 100 over invoice and youre ready to buy it now, b ut only for that price. they might try to make you pay more, but they CAN do 100 over invoice, just give it time.

make sure they show you the invoice also and dont screw you on interest rate.

Not worried about interest rate, I'll be refinacing it with a credit union.. but final price is definately a concern

my o4 rs was at invoice.

but for everyday driving, I would now get a gsr.

a lot of inconveniences w/o pw acc.

and my RS is so much louder than a gsr. it's amazing how little sound dampening makes difference...

rs great for track, for street????

I love my new 05 WW RS. Its the fastest car I have ever Owned or ridden in. They are very hard to find so if one pops up at your dealer I would jump on the oppurtunity. Only 400 were made this year. My dealer told me that they cant order them. The only way they get one is if they sell enough Evo VIII's and then they recieve an RS as kind of a gift. RS is the highest performance Evo out and has been proven the best.

I would still like to know what invoice is, just so I can show up prepared.

I got my 04 RS for $500 under invoice. I can't remember what exactly the price was right now (don't have the papers on me) so I guess that doesn't help you much. It's for sale, as well. I'm currently overseas in the military and I didn't get to bring the car with me.

Anyway, good luck. I've owned both a 2003 GSR and a 2004 RS. I loved both cars beyond beleif. There is nothing wrong with the RS for daily driving. It was actually how I wanted the car initially, but wasn't offered until the second year of sales in the US.

I couldn't ever see myself getting an MR. The car just doesn't appeal to me. That's me, though.

Well this particular RS has been sitting on the lot for about 6 months and I've been by 4 or 5 times to look at it. They also had a Silver GSR thats been there for awhile, this place has a problem selling Evo's I think (not very knowledgable). Anyway, I'll see what they say 27k OTD. thx again

I paid 27,385 OTD. My dealership was the highest EVO selling dealership in CO so they got first dibs at getting me a RS, ordered it March 04, received it August 04

I paid $300 over invoice for my white '04 RS at Huntington Beach Mitsu last October. I think that's a fair deal. The fact is that demand for the RS is not that high. If your dealer has one, he might have had it in stock for a while and wants to unload it. Bargain scorched-earth style.
