CF bumper clear coat
Yesterday at the tire shop, the jacka$$ that was alignment wasn't paying attention and slammed my cf bumper into the metal stopper. the bumper seems okay, but the clear is cracked. i was wondering if anyone has had a something like this happen. will i be able to sand the clear to the cf and have it reshot with clear? thanks justin

i have a cf bumper too, and i think that it needs to be re-resined, not cleared, what you see cracking is the resin that they use for the cf, kinda like fiberglass, also if the cf ot torn, then you are fdged. you will need to repair it w/ fiberglass and then paint over it to hide the repair.

hmm you can wetsand and buff the crack out possibly be you cant really sand do much because you can mess up the cf weave if you get to close. my suggestion is to paint the cf bumper and leave some stuff unpainted on it to peeps know its a cf bumper u know?
