Consumer Reports stated in the 2004 Annual Automotive Issue that Subaru was rated number 1 in quality.
Subaru jumped 16 spots to become the most reliable automotive brand overall in 2004.
They have an 8% problem rate versus Honda's 9% and Toyota's 10%. Lexus won last year, but fell to 4th with 11%.
Industry average was 16% problem rate.
- I thought this was interesting.
