Does anyone out there know where is the location of the original hid ballast (evo8). I am considering removing the original hid bulb and ballast and replacing it with a more powerful kit - 50w. The original ones are too dim. thanks All!

 

i beliveve u can clearly see it if u take ur front bumper cover off

 

re-align em. the balast is mounted to the headlight itself

 

Ballast are bolted to the bottom of the head light,if you remove the bumper then
remove the headlight you can remove the ballast.Broke the lens had to buy new
light bought just the houseing I believe 350 changed every thing over ,new head light asembly 1200

 

the stock HID's aren't bright enough? How bright do you want?

 

Just as bright as the hids on my volvo xc90. They are bright and not yellow like the evo.

 

^ Yellow? My HIDs aren't yellow...

 

maybe he's running his fogs only all the time
