Not really a honda badge because I'm taking it apart and using the letters. It would be the same thing as findind a place to make me the lettering except that would be hard to find a place that does it.

 

Its not like I'm putting a Honda "H" on my evo.

And for all of you SiR badge haters, once it's cut up it no longer is an SiR badge, just letters... It's like cutting words out of the newpaper for a ransom note, it's no longer words from a newpaper, it's a ransom note.

Dont preach sacriledge, alot of things spin off from other things, and sometimes the spin off is better than the original. Plus when you cut the letters out and rearrange them nobody will be able to notice that it used to be an SiR badge.

 

why would you put a Honda badge on a Mitsu. That's like putting lamborghini emblems on a Yugo

I think it would be nice. You can buy the EVOLUTION V/// MR in black with the MR in red and then all you need is the S in red.

As far as the people saying that putting badges on cars is stupid I guess they just love the lancer emblem on thier truck (dumbas$es). The UK badge rocks. I am waiting for someoe to some out with an MR+ badge so I can add that. So I don't have the active center diff. I have way more power and I know how to drive.

If you want to badge it different. ROCK IT!

In my personal opinion if you have to have an RS badge get a local vinyl shop to cut you one out in the font and color you want. It is not a plastic emblem and I wouldn't do either one but, the vinyl is less ghetto than cutting up an emblem that isn't even from that make of car in my opinion.

 

Vinyl doesn't have the "raised" the UK badge has, thus finding an R and S in a badge elsewhere, who cares what it's from, it may look at home with the evo once modified to say "RS"

Ghetto is only if the piece is obviously not right, superglued, deformed, scratched up, we are talking about clipping off the little bottom edge that connects the letters to rearrange them. Thats not ghetto is it is done right, and looks good. Its innovative. There is a fine line

 

if u own an RS, then by all means put the badging on. if u dont , please dont do it.

Exactly, Us RS owners may want to show everyone that we didnt actually just take the wing off, we would have justification that it comes stock by pointing at the rear UK badge with RS.

Believe it or not, people associate Evo's with the wing, so if you dont have one be prepared for an explaination from other local car club type people.

I've already had to explain to quite a few people that it is a real evo, and no I didnt take the wing off...

 

ITs more like making your own custom badge for your Evo RS, I think its a good idea and will look great!
