Are you saying that you would just have various walks dyno test their cars and compare results? That really wouldnt be that accurate. You'd have to take one car and put 272/264 cams in and then take them out and put in 272/272...etc.

Are ther any other mods recommended with the GSC cams? Or can you just put them in themselves? These sound awesome, so no problem with stalls huh?

no ****! thats what I am trying to say...I have 2 friends that would probably let me borrow their cams for the test one has hks 264s the other 272s...I was just saying one of my friends wanted to try my setup, so he could while his cams are out in my car for the testing... But everyone is so damn busy right now, who knows...Anyways, this set up kicks *** and I am sure I made the right decision.

no mods needed, just get them, but of course greater results will be achieved with exhaust, some type of engine management, and boost control to start...No stalls at all!! , Just one Mean sounding Evo...

I'm curious as to what else you guys are replacing when you install the cams..
Here are a few idea's

+ ARP Headstuds
+ Timing Belt
+ Balance shaft belt
+ Tensioner pulley
+ Timing belt idler pulley
+ Balance shaft tensioner pulley
+ Hydraulic tensioner

I've got 30k miles and will probably get cams within the next ~5k miles.. I'll probably do the install myself.. so I'd like to replace anything that is recommended...

Thoughts or idea's?

I'm just doing the cams and headstuds, I've never heard of replacing anything else.

i have the same question someone already mentioned, with the 272/272 does the car stall out at any point or just the idle is lumpy?

I heard that alot of the cars with an open air element intake (hks rs, helix, perrin, etc.) will have problems with the 272's, but people who have kept the stock airbox and just used a dropin filter have had no problems at all.
