Hi evryone,
This is my first post in this site. I would like to thank all of the members of this site for the knowledge i have learned about EVO's.
I have finally made up my mind on buying a car here in Chicago, an EVO.
But what shall i go for? EVO8 or EVO9?
I plan on buying the car new from a dealership. I have been given a quote stating "TOTAL OUT THE DOOR PRICE........$30647.79" for a 2005 EVO8.

Do you guys think i should go for it or wait for the EVO9? Anyone knows when the EVO9 is coming out and how much would it cost?
Any Advice and/or opinions are appreciated

LUXURY MOTORS OF ORLAND PARK. This is the price they gave me. They claim to have the lowest Mitsubishi prices in the Chicagoland area.
Do you know a dealer that sells for a cheaper price?


No, the price is for a standard '05 GSR, with all expenses.
"COST/SALE PRICE......$27995.00"
Is the price high or reasonable?

one dealer gave me a price of 500 over invoice, how many evo's did they have in stock there?

 

$30,674???? this is MSRP!!!!!! they can come down lower than that. they are F.O.S!! the evo 9 is scheduled for Oct so i hear & will most likely be marked up around $33k (base msrp) since every new revision of any car adds about $2500-3k to the new price. search other states. you can get an '05 cheaper than MSRP.

for example the '03-04 evo8 base msrp was $28995. the '05 went to $30,999. invoice on an '05 is about $28,600. the only way i would buy that car is for $29K OTD (out the door) including ALL FEES, TAX, TITLE, & LICENSE...
