I have a compustar alarm/starter. Is there n e way to hook up my Greddy TT with the compustar? Currently after i take my key outta my ignition, my car will run and then when i shut my door my car will automatically shut down and lock, so ppl said the greddy TT will interfere w/ that function

Yes it does!!

I had a Blitz fatDCIII on my WRX and it was uncompatible with the alarm. I always had to wait for the turbo timer to shut off, then active the alarm manually.

Now I have a 05 Evo MR and I have a Apexi tiny turbo timer and a different alarm installed by the specialist and I have the same problem, the turbo timer over rides the alarm until it shuts off.

I am sure a shop could rewire the installation to make it works but as a direct bolt on most of them are not compatible.

Did you manually install your TT's or have you used harnesses in each situation?

I've never had a problem with my blitz unit. Just shut the door, hit the remote and the doors lock. I used the harness.

Did you use a harness, or splice wires? Does the car stay locked after the motor shuts off?

On my first scenario, the WRX had the factory optional alarm, then I added the Blitzz fatDCIII including the harness but unfortunately both could not work simultaneously.
The second situation , the alarm is a Prestige alarm with ignition switch kill. I also have to wait for the turbo timer to shut off so I can activate the alarm otherwise it wouldn't work.

I got my alarm done on my Evo MR by a local company in Tucson called the Specialist. I am not happy about having to wait for the turbo timer. I might have to take the car back and have them do some custom work.

It really sucks having two cars already that the alarams and turbo timers are not compatible..

Please don't take my word as the only reference, I am just one source of information. No everyone has alarm on their Evos and no everyone has turbo timers either so at least I am not full of $hit by making a comment without a foundation, I had two cars with both(turbo timer and alarm).

so the alarms with the "built-in turbo timer" create a relay that will allow the user to ARM the car while the turbo timer is running?

unless it is CAN bus , alarm can always work with turbo time , u just need to make the alarm sense the car is ready to arm even when engine is on (i.e. isolate whtever engine is on signal when Turbo timer is on .... )

Since Evo has no factory alarm ,so it can be done

Anytime the alarm cant arm with turbo timer on ,
it is bcoz u didnt isolate the signals to feed them
