Adjusting Greddy TypeS Bov

ok I did the single spring mod on my typeS and i have it recirc. back into the intake of course
I set the adjustment at 2 1/2 turns from 1st contact
it would be fine but for like less than a second it would start to whistle at 0.4kg or whatever it is on the boost gauge and then go away
so I adjusted it to 3 turns and it does it even more now
what is this whistling and why is it doin it in vacuum?
is this compressor surge?

should I go back to 2 1/2 turns or what?
need some help with this cuz im confused lol

TIA

I think somone posted here that the "screw" shouldn't be touched and they regret that they ever put that on the valve.

ok I read your signature on your mods...and it looks like, your car is basically stock...if you are running stock boost...just make sure your valve is

1. peaking at the right boost
2. holding it at the right boost, maybe a bit higher..but def. at bit longer than stock.
3. should be blowing off freely if #1 and #2 holds true.

If you're not peaking at the right boost, it's too soft and its letting out too freely ~ "leaking"

if 1 and 2 is true, but 3 is not, it is on too tight and you can tell if it's fluttering.

hope this helps.

my buddy John modded my type-s screw bolt/shaft out. we took the original one out and put in a 10 metric in that had a single hex head. I marked 2 of the sides of the hex with permanent marker so I have a good idea how many turns I am making and degrees of adjustments I am making.
