Question Is it ok to remove UK badge to straighten after applied?

I installed my black UK badge today but the VIII portion of it seems to be a little un even. Is is possible to remove and re stick or will I ruin the lettering if I remove it?

Did it come uneven or did you just put it on a little crooked? You can take them off without ruining them but you probably wont be able to align it perfectly again.

those badges, as well as many others use that great 3M double sided tape. Once you pull it off, it will not have the same "stickyness" it had when you first put it on.
You may end up having to get another badge

If I pull them off will they still be sticky and have the sticky stuff on them or will it stay on the car?

it will probably stay on the car...you would have to apply more 3m tape...unless its really off i would say leave it, you will most likely only make it worse

Your best bet is to leave it like it is, and get a heat gun, or a good blow dryer and heat it up before moving it into a new position, this may save the the sticky side from messing up.

I'd just leave it alone, you might just mess it up and then you're going to have to buy another badge.

Or mess up the paint...I knew someone who put an aftermarket badge on a car, and when he tried to remove it some paint came off with the badge

Yeah it is a pain to take off and most likely you will not be able to reuse. If I where I would have use a solvent safe for your paint like Goo-gon or believe it or not WD40 works good too. A heat gun also works but you have to be real carful, Then put a new one on very carefully.

Well I decided to take it off. It was really easy to take off, I just used dental floss and the letters popped right off. Anyways I had to through all the lettering away and I just ordered a new one. I just wasted 90.00 bucks. Owell I learned a lesson not to rush and measure next time.
