So I got some money to mod with

I have roughly 1500 dollars to mod with. Now my evo is completely stock other then a boost gauge and a turbo timer. What do you guys think is the biggest bang for my buck? What mods and roughly how much power have people seen with these setups? Whats worked for you? any input would be awesome, thanks a lot

Get a TBE, MBC, and Intake and you might be able to squeeze out a AFC II -- are you going to be installing this yourself?

^^^^ definitely look into the stuff mentioned above....also, u could do cams and a flash, but u may have to squeeze out a little more $$$ for everything if u plan on getting everything installed by the pros. Good luck man!

Tbe $650, mbc $80, get an aps valve $220 to hold the boost , k&n drop in filter $60, lower intercooler pipe $200, mail in flash $200 ( all prices are rough). The best mods you can do for now with the money. I personally dont believe the intake does anything but sound. Spend roughtly $1400, maybe alittle more depeneding on what you get exactly, if you get used it will be cheaper.

Where do you live?

If $1500 was burning a whole in my pocket this is probably what I'd do...

WORKS TR303 Power Package

This package costs a little more than $1500 but if you remove the throttle body from the package ($349) you should be right where you want to be after tax and installation. I've heard from a few people that a new throttle body is basically unnecessary unless you're installing new cams anyways so you're still looking at the same power with or without it.

Momma dun gave me 1500 dolers, wut shud I bauy?!

I think you should get a boost guage (more guages, if possible), reflash (I think XEDE v3 and WORKS P2 have this, I don't know about DynoFlash) with boost control or flash and MBC (any brand; a lot go with Hallman), and a TBE (prolly a Buschur) should put you in a good spot.

If you want to do stages, Stage 1 from any company will be around 1500 dollars.

I wouldn't waste your money on a SAFC-II.. they are pretty much useless without a wideband o2.

I think bigjhoney has a good setup posted above ^^
