walbro fuel pump help
Before I install the pump do I need to get my car tuned afterwards? On evomoto they said dont do it on a full tank of gas but my tank is 90% full, is it ok?
i would wait there will be alot of gas everywhere wait at least a half a tank i did it and there was still some gas. yeah i would get it tuned you will run extremely rich hope i helped take care bud
I would wait until your tank is closer to empty. The reason they say to do it on a low tank of gas is because when the tank is full you will likely make a mess during the install.
As far as a tune, it will make you slightly more rich, but not so much that it will be a safety problem. I would recommend a tune eventually, but it's not as crucial as it is with other mods.

you dont neccesarily have to get it tuned after, but it would be good.
they say dont do it on a full tank of gas, i'm guessing for saftey reasons you dont want a spark from a tool hiting metal to set you car on fire.

You do not need to get retuned. The injectors control the amount of fuel dispensed in to the combustion chamber. The fuel pump is a high volume pump not a high pressure pump. At the same pressure the injectors will dispense the same amount of fuel.
as for the fuel level, the higher the fuel level, the more messy it will be.
