I just watched the video and that is unbelieveable. That sucks it happened. I'm glad he got out ok and anytime a car blows up - it blows

The first pic leaves me to believe the fire had something to do with Fuel cell and lines. A line of fire left behind the car...something electrical probably sparked the inferno. Poor guy...just look at that face, just lost the love of his life.

From the pics, the cars whole rear section is missing. Almost like the cars fuel tank exploded ... ouch

Sorry to bump up an old thread but, here's what Showdown had to say about their new shop car. I thought it was pretty funny. Their customer service skills are outstanding

dude, that's human error. the pace car slowed down. have you seen the video?

domastic cars do it all the time. Mostly blowing fuel lines or radiator or something that contains fluids.

anyway, sucks for him, but shlt happens. take it for what it's worth and move on.

nobody got hurt.

how fast was that car anyway, before it got toasted?
