cams and dynoflash

im going to be getting cams installed w/ fuel pump 255 and headstuds, then a custom tune (dynoflash or tt). my question is, is the car going to be ok to drive w/ the extra mods before the proper tune, because it might be a week or so before i get the tune. if they install the cams, wont they need to dyno it and play w/ the a/f, all which will probably cost extra, but will come eventually w/ the custom tune. thanks.

it will probably run rich, and you will get poor gas mileage

Tune car before you drive it. Not a good idea to wait.

Thumbs up

my advice would be to get your parts installed & then FEDEX your ECU to Al to be custom tuned. if you're running stock cam gears this setup will be cake. if you have aftermarket gears, you will need dyno + tuning.

or your other option is to drive it like the break-in period until you can get it all done properly.

I'm waiting for my 264/264, install them and send the ECU to Al an upgrade.
I guess you can drive your car, but go easy with it.
