Exhaust messing up Paint...
I just picked up my Evo today, It has RnR exhaust on it, with the bumper shield, but I noticed that the whole rear right of the car is faded because of the exhaust fumes, is there anything i can buy to wash it off maybe?IVe tried soap and water but no luck. The car is weightless white so it shows pretty good. thanks for any help!

Clay bar the paint is a good start. But make sure you wash the bumper with a dishwashing soap first to remove any built up wax first.
Since clay is only meant to remove surface contaminants, it may not clear up the problem. If the paint is discolored, you may need to use some polish or cleaner prep wax. Cleaner prep wax tends to have cleaners but no abrasives. So if you are afraid to use a polish on your car, try the cleaner first. If that doesn't work, you will be forced to use polish. If you have no experience with polishes, you might want to bring your car over to the local detailing shop.
Once the paint is smooth and free of stains, go find some high temp wax. The wheel wax available at www.poorboysworld.com works great. Since it doesn't vaporize as easily as normal waxes in high temp situations, it will hold up better to the heat coming from the exhaust vapors and keep the bumper from staining better than a conventional wax.

I thought I remember reading somewhere C02 and H20 together cause some sort of reaction, I could be WAY OFF so dont hesitiate to correct me. It seemed that the film ONLY comes back after I let my car sit on when its wet out(dew or rain).
I got the film off roughly 2 weeks ago and there has been no water on the car since and the film is NOT back on my car, thats why I came to this conclusion.

It's about $5 a bottle. You just wipe it on and it takes the stain right off.
