Im sorry but I do not see anything remotely the same aboout the US lancer and the evo, except 4 doors, and the trunk lid. US lancers are boxier, front end totally different, rear totally different, hell there is even a big difference (visually) between the oz and the es. The evo looks mean as hell, i personally like that so i think it looks good.

 

I agree. I think upon even moderately close inspection the cars do not look alike.

Nice pic. I mean..what's not sexy about that? Atleast to me it's very visually appealing. It looks like it's gonna eat you. Although the red one is a bit extreme on the front end.

 

It's funny how you call it Fast and Furious styling crap. The Evo and STi came out long before the Fast and the Furious was a gleam in a young director's eye.
And as for that 22 year old staffer. There is no way he could be embarrassed as the car is mostly targeted to 20 and 30 year olds. An adolescent can't afford one of these machines. I am 31 years old and I am proud when I see people look at me on the road. I feel like saying to them "Yes...it's an Evo." With a grin. I mean come on...this the Evo!!! An automotive icon that until now people could only dream of owning! The GTA looks too timid, not aggressive enough. If you ask me, the Evo is one of the most aggressive looking pieces of machinery out on the road today!

the evo is not a pretty car... it is a mean looking car... its japanese, not italian or german.

i think the EVO is a very agressive looking car in comparison with the WRX that looks like a chump the EVO has attitude and all that is to be expected with attitude the EVO is a japanese master piece but i think they can really notch up the power for the US edition i got both edition because where i live we can import from the US and the dealer brings them from japan so the japannese edition is a real killer without any mods

 

yup i think it look just as good as a 4 door Honda Civic, with aftermarket hood and big spoiler and rims!!!!! the best looking econo-box!!!!
