Apexi Power Intake with MAF hardpipe
here you guys go
The first images have arrows to show you the area's that hit after the combo, causing it to not be a 100% fit. The one arrow pointing up with the line, is showing the distance it would need to be moved back before the bracket would line up with the hole to where its supposed to bolt down. Enjoy.

I just installed my Apexi filter on the Dejon Tool intake pipe. I had to tweak the couplers to get the intake to point upward enough to get the filter on. Mine hits in the same places as 93civEJ1's. I was also not able to use any of the Apexi brackets.
I ordered the HKS pipe for the stock air box today. It should be here in about 10 days. I will let you know how it fits with the Apexi filter and brackets when I get it.

that is the problem people dont seem to understand. It makes the combo too long with the apexi filter and adapter. since you have to angle it all upward to get the filter and stuff on, check your coupling at the turbo housing. It is probably not pressed on all the way on the underneath side since it it semi angled upwards. I had to press the whole combo toward the turbo and down as hard as i could, and while holding it in that position, i tightened the coupling at the turbo so its all the way down flush against the turbo. You might wanna double check the underside of that one coupling as well.
If the pipe I ordered hooks up to the stock air box, hopefully it will be shorter... This will hopefully let mine be able to hook up correctly. We will see in a few weeks. I will post some pictures when and if I get it installed.

Got the pipe in from Fedex on Friday. I installed the pipe and it fit like a glove. I loosend the two bolts holding the Apexi filter mounts to the body and then installed the pipe. I hooked the pipe up and tightened the brackets down. It fit as good if not better than the stock rubber pipe. PERFECT. It fit so well, I couldnt even believe it.
All brackets installed just like in the Apexi directions. No rubbing of any sort.
I 100% recommend the HKS p/n 1302-SM006. MAF hard pipe kit . It is kind of expensive, but comes with all the clamps, couplings, and tapped holes with fittings incase you want to plug up the two smaller hoses that go to the MAF pipe. The can be gotten for about $190 shipped.
