Encounter w/GT3: PCH, Las Flores, Piuma
From a light on PCH, I was side by side with the GT3 (his nose out by 1-2 feet) on a no-launch start 0-60, and then he started pulling away and I backed off. Don't need a ticket on PCH before I even make it to the canyons.
Later I catch up to him in on Las Flores to Piuma and he waits for me on a straight then we both punch it. Believe it or not, my new EVO 8 GSR (bone stock, 1500 miles) stayed right on his tail for a few miles through a really twisty section of this road. He'd pull ahead some on straight sections and then I'd reel him in through the corners. He was sliding where I wasn't.
Don't get me wrong... the GT3 is my dream car, but the EVO continues to amaze me. Maybe he was a bad driver, I'm not great, but he was pushing his car to the limits (sliding) and it was so fun.
