^^ Its more of a wear thing, you can hurt many things in the driveline, that are not cheap to repair. Id rather get a horrible time, than replace a transfer case.

I thought it might be a combo of both, you know? the wear issue is obvious but I think the limiter in the 05's may not be as bad as people are claiming. when I tore my stock clutch up I was dumping at 6.5k (yah yah I learned my lesson) and experiencing alot of wheel hop whereas I suffered no driveline issues ( prolly due to the clutch design) thus hurting "times" (wheel hop)
