I tried to install my MAS intake pipe that was originally on my 2003 Evo on my 2005 Evo last night.

Because of the new ACD on the 05's where the intercooler sprayer once was is now a small tank containing fluid for the ACD....and because of this small tank of fluid i cannot get my pipe, MAS, and intake filter to fit. The filter needs at least one and a half more inches of clearance in order for it to fit properly.....which is definatley not there.

so basically my quesiton is to you...is there a new pipe for the 05's? or is there just something that i'm missing...cause i can't get that mother to fit......

I just had the upper IC pipe installed on my '05 MR. I know this isn't what you did but thought it might help.

We couldn't get the included 1G BOV to fit without making mods to the stock hosing. My stock airbox assembly was pushed over hard in order to get the pipe to fit.

My next purchase is the air intake kit so very interested in Bushur's response to you.

 

i spoke to one of the guys at buschur....the intake pipe design was changed to accomidate the 05. so the pipe for the 03/04 and the 05 is different.

When you get your pipe from buschur it will fit. so you have no worries.
