Question reflash and cel?

I got me ecu back last week from dyno-flash. I was cruising around and I threw a cel for lean PO0171. I am running straight 109 and I have all of Buschur racing stage 4 X-cluding the intercooler...Its 85 degees outside....can anyone help me with my question? Is it too hot and w-out the intercooler its making me lean? the hotter it is the more dence the air is so that might no make since....car runs perfect....but so do lean cars right before they blow!

also I went to autozone just to tell me the code....should I just unplug the battery to get rid of the code or is it safe with a reflash for autozone to pull it?

No, it's the opposite: the hotter it is, the LESS dense the air is. Hot air has more energy, and the particles are more agitated (hot). Cold air is less agitated, and therefore more dense.

It could be some other mods you are running. Check your injectors. A friend had a custom flash and was running well until his injectors started "working right" and he started running super rich. Basically his injectors apparently was NOT working well during the tuning that the flash compensated for more fuel. Yours might be the other way around.

I don't think any reflash does that. The idea is that a flash just lets the ECU be less "restrictive" to learn your mods.

I don't think the reflash does that either. I went out last night a filled up with 109 and raced a modded evo on the bottle...my car ran cherry...no cel...it was around 50 degrees outside..I think it was the weather, it was too hot. I am going to call AL today and see what he says....there was no detenation and the plugs did not look bad either, put a new set in to see what they look like later.

Maybe your stock intercooler might not be efficient anymore. Stage 4 is what? around 400hp+? Stock intercooler is rated at around 400hp...

Might consider upgrading...

Intercooler is the only thing that I lack. David Buschur said that with what I have I will be ok for a little bit, I just got the upper intercooler pipe and the reflash...next week I will be getting the intercooler but for now he said it would do. I wasn't for sure if it was pushing it too much. But I think so.
