No Louver+Rain= Cel?

I seems that when ever it rains the day following ill get a check engine... i havent been running the vents for about 3 months now ever sence the weight f the snow kept popping out the pins... ( I have new pins just havent put it back in ) , the light goes off with about 10 or so cycles and stays off till the next rain( only if i drive it). Is this the cam angle sensor , and or the crank angle sensor getting wet? Any ideas?

Yes, it is the cam postion sensor getting wet. When you throw this code, it will through the crank angle sensor at the same time. Its best to leave the hood vent in place so that the cam sensor will not get wet. I'm almost 100% sure these are the codes you will see when you pull them.

This happen to me once when I went through a carwash.

Never happened to me and I have had my vent off for about 8 months now. The only code I throw is for the rear 02 when I'm logging.
